Bayern Will not Rush Discuss New Contract Guardiola
Munich – Pep Guardiola’s contract with Bayern Munich 18 months left to live. However, Bayern will not be pressing Guardiola to discuss a new contract in the near future.
Guardiola who started dealing Bayern in summer 2013 was under contract until 2016. In its first year, Guardiola has presented the trophy Bundesliga, DFB Pokal, European Super Cup and Club World Cup.
Bayern hope the Spaniard will still be at the Allianz Arena for a long time. However, Bayern will not rush to open negotiations with the relevant Guardiola new contract.
“I’ve told him that I was not going to ask him about the contract in the coming months. We will not do anything before the summer and maybe we’ll talk in the second half of 2015,” said Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge told the newspaper Ara as quoted ESPN FC.
“He can stay here as long as he wants, but Pep is not the type of people who need security. Pep does not need a five-year contract to know that he will get a lot of money in Bavaria. It was not Pep Guardiola.”
“Pep Guardiola live for today and I accept it. He is a fantastic coach,” he added.
