Ter Stegen From Frustration Want to Play in La Liga
Barcelona – Barcelona goalkeeper Marc–Andre Ter Stegen revealed his desire to appear in the La Liga match. During this time, the young German goalkeeper is newly installed in the tournament matches that followed the Blaugrana.
Barca had two goalkeepers who are equally qualified this season. They are Claudio Bravo brought in from Real Sociedad and Ter Stegen was carried off from Borussia Moenchengladbach.
Barca coach Luis Enrique itself split ration play for both, Bravo in the league while Ter Stegen in the Champions League and Copa del Rey. This decision might be taken as Bravo has long experience in the league and has been active in Spain since 2006, while Ter Stegen still need to adapt to the new environment and culture.
Both Ter Stegen and Bravo have so far shown good performance. In nine games which passed Ter Stegen for example, 22-year-old goalkeeper recorded six clean sheets with five goals conceded. While Bravo which this year will be 32 years old, recorded 12 clean sheets from 19 games and only conceded nine times.
Especially for Ter Stegen, the number of appearances is still fairly minimal when compared Bravo. Hence also he harbored a desire to appear in the league, so they can play more often, although aware of displacing his colleagues will not be easy.
“I am pleased with the fans for their support and to my colleagues work so hard. Coaches use this to me at the time matches the Copa del Rey and the Champions League, but I want to play in the league as well. I want to play in the league , but Bravo played very well, “he said on the official site.
