Jakarta – PSSI will also intervene on the fate of Indonesian Super League in 2015. They will complain to FIFA following the decision of the Ministry of Youth and Sports to postpone the schedule.

Kick-off ISL planned on February 20 was postponed at least until the next two weeks. Imam Affairs Nahrawi asked PT Liga Indonesia and clubs complete all the requirements, before they can get a recommendation from the Indonesian Professional Sports Agency (BOPI), that the competition can be run.

Problem unreleased recommendation of BOPI, PSSI plans to communicate with the world football governing body, FIFA. It was as revealed by the PSSI secretary general who is also the CEO of PT Liga Indonesia, Joko Driyono.

“We will manage this uncertainty at several levels of decision-making. League of concern to the technical issues related to the schedule, related to the interaction of the league with clubs, partners, sponsors television, co-sponsors and other stakeholders,” said Joko told journalist at the office of PSSI, Jakarta, Wednesday (02/18/2015).

“The next level is the PSSI, because PSSI has the competition become pillars of national team. Therefore we request PSSI to perform emergency Exco meeting in order to take the most realistic decision to address this.

“At first glance we were earlier indicate that the PSSI also request for a direction to the FIFA associated with the problems we face. Because it includes harmonization, synchronization, agendas domestic competition, the national team, and international events,” he added.
