Sunderland – Sunderland winger Adam Johnson, do not linger in jail. Johnson is now free again after redeemed with a bail.

As reported earlier, Johnson, was arrested dwelling by Durham Police on Monday (02/03/2015) local time. The former Manchester City player was alleged to have had sex with an underage teenage daughter, who is believed to be as young as 15 years.

During the process of investigation Johnson is willing to cooperate with the police. 27 year old footballer was then free after redeemed with money that is not mentioned.

However, Johnson certainly will not play in the match against Hull City Sunderland on Tuesday (03/03/2015) night local time. He was suspended by the club pending the outcome of further police investigation.

“Sunderland AFC has confirmed that Adam Johnson has been suspended from the club, pending the outcome of the police investigation. No further comment at this time,” read an official statement that proclaimed Guardian Sunderland.

Johnson’s absence will certainly add punch for the Black Cats. Sunderland are struggling away from relegation with currently ranks 16th with a collection of 25 points, just three points from Burnley in 18th position.

Johnson started his career at Middlesbrough and made his debut in the senior team in 2005. He was then loaned to Leeds United and Watford before joining City in 2010 worth 7 million pounds.

At City career did not go smoothly. Johnson then moved to Sunderland in 2012 after a transfer worth 10 million pounds.

In England, Johnson has played 12 times, scoring two goals. So far Johnson has never been called into the squad to play in the big tournaments.
