Mourinho not Want Longer Discuss Failure Chelsea in Champions League

London – Jose Mourinho is no longer willing to discuss the failure of Chelsea in the Champions League arena. Mourinho wants the focus to lead the Blues in the hunt for the Premier League trophy.

Chelsea ruled out Paris Saint-Germain in the last 16 of the Champions League this season. Although the aggregate score balanced at 3-3, PSG right to advance to the quarter-finals thanks to the away goals rule.

For Mourinho, the story about the Champions League does not need to be extended again. He asked the journalists who want to discuss the Champions League to go to Arsenal or Manchester City manager.

“If you want to talk about the Champions League, go and talk to Arsene Wenger or Manuel Pellegrini because they still survive in the Champions League,” Mourinho told Sky Sports.

“We’ve been knocked out. We played eight times and never once lost, but we did not get the results we need to qualify for the quarter-finals,” he added.

Failure in the Champions League Chelsea means lost opportunity to win a trophy. Thus, they will get a maximum of two titles this season. English League Cup already in hand, while the Premier League title were they fighting.

“I’m trying to win the Premier League. If we win the Premier League, then a season with the Premier League trophy and the League Cup was a good season,” said Mourinho.

Chelsea still top the Premier League standings with a five-point lead over Manchester City. They will entertain Southampton at Stamford Bridge on Sunday (03/15/2015) tomorrow.
